Specialist committees
The technical-scientific work of the GDMB is carried out in its specialist committees. Their members meet regularly to discuss the latest technical and scientific findings in their specialist areas. The lecture programme is complemented by theme-orientated company visits. The current and future work of the specialist committees is decided at internal meetings. Working groups are created at short notice to work on individual problems. Their number and working themes are variable and adapted to the current requirements. Participation in specialist committees is open to all GDMB members. Initially, they can be invited as guests. In agreement with their company management or department, they can become members of the Specialist Committee, whereby active participation is a requirement.
